HOUSE FORMATION

The students in the school are divided into four houses to make them learn to be responsible members of a community through participation in different activities, sports, and many other competitions organised throughout the year. 

  1. Mahatma Buddha House (Red) 

  2. Mahatma Gandhi House (Green) 

  3. Sri Krishna House (Yellow) 

  4. Swami Vivekanand House (Blue)

MAHATMA  BUDHHA

    

Gautama Buddha, also known as Siddhartha. Buddha was a sage who started to impact thousands of lives in the sixth and fourth BCE (Before the Common Era) with his profound spiritual wisdom. The word 'Buddha' means the enlightened one or the awakened one. No matter what religion you follow, or what culture you have been born and brought up in, Buddha's teachings are universal. His teachings have the strength to awaken people to reality and make them introspect themselves. Lord Buddha's teachings have not only given a deeper insight into one's existence but also made significant contributions in liberating one from the day-to-day conflicts in mind.

  1. Health is the greatest gift, contentment is the greatest wealth, and faithfulness is the best relationship.

स्वास्थ्य सबसे बड़ा उपहार है, संतोष सबसे बड़ा धन है, वफादारी सबसे बड़ा संबंध है |

  1. Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others. He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind.

आपके पास जो कुछ भी है, उसे बढ़ा-चढ़ा कर मत बताइए, और ना ही दुसरो से इर्ष्या करता है उसे मन की शांति नहीं मिलती |

  1. Every morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.

हर सुबह हम पुन: जन्म लेते हैं | हम आज क्या करते हैं यही सबसे अधिक मायने रखता है \

  1. What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.

जो आप सोचते हैं, वो आप बन जाते हैं | जो आप महसूस करते हैं, उसे आकर्षित करते हैं | जिसकी आप कल्पना करते हैं, उसका आप निर्माण करते हैं |

  1. However many holy words you read, However many you speak, What good will they do you if you do not act upon them?

आप चाहे जितने पवित्र शब्द पढ़ लें, चाहे जितने बोल लें, वे आपका क्या भला करेंगे यदि आप उन पर कार्य नहीं करते हैं ?

  1. If the problem can be solved, why worry? If the problem cannot be solved worrying will do you no good.

यदि समस्या का समाधान किया जा सकता है तो चिंता क्या करे ? यदि समस्या का समाधान नहीं किया जा सकता तो चिंता करना आपको कोई फायदा नहीं पहुंचेगा |

  1. If you are facing in the right direction, all you need to do is keep on walking.

यदि आपका मुख सही दिशा की ओर है, तो आपको बस कदम बढ़ाते रहना है |

  1. One moment can change a day, one day can change a life and one life can change the world.

एक क्षण एक दिन बदल सकता है, एक दिन एक जीवन को बदल सकता है और एक जीवन पुरे विश्व को बदल सकता है |

  1. There is nothing so disobedient as an undisciplined mind, and there is nothing so obedient as a disciplined mind.

अनुशासन ही नमन से अधिक उद्दंड और कुछ नहीं है, और अनुशासित मन से अधिक आज्ञाकारी और कुछ नहीं है |

  1. A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.

एक उदार दिल, दयालु भाषण, तथा सेवा और करुणा का जीवन, ये वो चीज़े हैं जो मानवता को नवीनी कृत करती है |

MAHATMA  GANDHI

     

Mahatma Gandhi, one of the inspiring leaders of India. is a person of immense importance even today. His preaching and messages are inspired by so many people across the world. He was a seeker of truth and pursued timeless discipline and spirituality all his life. He was greatly inclined to the Indian tradition. His teachings transcend all generations and are relevant even to modern times. Particularly his teachings to the modern youth bring inspiration, instilling in them the power of his ideas. During the freedom struggle, Gandhi persuaded so many people in the country to follow him and fight for freedom through nonviolence. Even today, he is one of the most influential political leaders of all time. He encouraged young people to sweep away prejudices and gave them new values for living. He stressed the importance of Truth and nonviolence and called the youth to "Be Fearless". Gandhi is one person who realised the power and potentiality of youth, understanding the dynamics of social change. 

  1. A man is but the product of his thoughts, what he thinks, he becomes.

व्यक्ति अपने विचारो से निर्मित प्राणी है, वह जो सोचता है वही बन जाता है |

  1. A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history.

अपने प्रयोजन से दृढ विश्वास एअखने वाला एक सूक्ष्म शरीर इतिहास के रुख को बदल सकता है |

  1. Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well. 

हमेशा अपने विचारो, शब्दों और कर्म के पूर्ण सामंजस्य का लक्ष्य रखें | हमेशा अपने विचारो को शुद्ध करने का लक्ष्य रखें और सब कुछ ठीक हो जायेगा |

  1. Be the change that you want to see in the world. 

खुद वो बदलाव बनिए जो आप दुनिया में देखना चाहते हैं |

  1. Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

ऐसे जियो जैसे कि तुम कल मरने वाले हो | ऐसे सीखो की तुम हमेशा के लिए जीने वाले हो |

  1. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from indomitable will.

शक्ति शारीरिक क्षमता से नहीं आती है | ये अदम्य इच्छा शक्ति से पैदा होती है |

  1. There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent.

एक सभ्य घर के बराबर कोई विद्यालय नहीं है और एक भले अभिभावक जैसा कोई शिक्षक नहीं है |

  1. The greatness of humanity is not in being human, but in being humane.

मानवता की महानता मानव होने में नहीं है, बल्कि मानवीय होने में है |

  1. An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching. 

थोडा सा अभ्यास बहुत सारे उपदेशो से बेहतर है |

  1. My religion is based on truth and non-violence. Truth is my God. Non-violence is the means of realising Him.

मेरा धर्म सत्य और अहिंसा पर आधारित है | सत्य मेरा भगवान् है | अहिंसा उसे पाने का साधन |

 

SRI KRISHNA

 

Sri Krishna made an indelible impression upon mankind's collective consciousness-re-educating the world about devotion and dharma as well as the ultimate reality. His life was a model for people in days past, the modern world, and surely for those in ages to come. Seeing Krishna as a perfect personification of divinity, to this day hundreds of millions of people pray to him, chant his name, meditate on his form, and try to put his teachings into practice. His life has inspired a treasure house of poetry, music, painting, sculpture, and other fine arts. His glory is unsurpassable. His story is a source of joy and inspiration for people from all walks of life. 

  1. One can become whatever one wants to be if one constantly contemplates on the object of desires with faith.

व्यक्ति जो चाहे बन सकता है यदि वह विश्वास के साथ इच्छित वास्तु पर लगातार चिंतन करे |

  1. The one who sees inaction in action, and action in inaction, is a wise person.

जो कार्य में निष्क्रियता में कार्य देखता है वह एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति है | 

  1. The mind is restless and difficult to restrain, but it is subdued by practice.

मन अशांत है और उसे नियंत्रित करना कठिन है, लेकिन अभ्यास से इसे वश में किया जा सकता है |

  1. One who abandons all desires and becomes free from longing and the feeling of ‘I’ and ‘my’ attains peace.

वह जो सभी इच्छाए त्याग देता है और मैं और मेरा की लालसा और भावना से मुक्त हो जाता है उसे शांति प्राप्त होती है |

  1. A self-realised person does not depend on anybody except God for anything.

प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति सिवाय इश्वर के किसी और पर निर्भर नहीं करता |

  1. Death is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Therefore grieve not for what is inevitable.

जन्म लेने वाले के लिए मृत्यु उतनी ही निश्चित है जितना कि मृत होने वाले के लिए जन्म लेना | इसलिए जो अपरिहार्य है उस पर शोक मत करो |

  1. Creation is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Therefore grieve not for what is inevitable.

जन्म लेने वाले कि लिए मृत्यु उतनी ही निश्चित है जितना कि मृत होने वाले के लिए जन्म लेना | इसलिए जो अपरिहार्य है उस पर शोक मत करो |

  1. There is nothing lost or wasted in this life.

इस जीवन में ना कुछ खोता है ना व्यर्थ होता है |

  1. Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction.

अपने अनिवार्य कार्य करो, क्युंकी वास्तव में कार्य करना निष्क्रियता से बेहतर है |

  1. Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Reasoning is destroyed when the mind is bewildered. One falls when reasoning is destroyed.

क्रोध से भ्रम पैदा होता है | भ्रम से बुद्धि व्यग्र होती है | जब बुद्धि व्यग्र होती है तब तर्क नष्ट हो जाता है | जब तर्क नष्ट होता है तब व्यक्ति का पतन हो जाता है |

 

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

   

The youth of India have great creative energy with the positive potential to take them to spiritual heights. If human creativity is a special quality. then the 'Never say die!' spirit is its apex. Demographically, today's India is at its youngest best and has the power to meet any challenge with the collective consciousness and effort of all people. especially young people. Swami Vivekananda delivered a lecture on the issue of difficulties in life He made the plea for the need for nationwide renovation with the ideals of 'tyaga' or sacrifice and 'seva,' selfless service, the most imperative aspects of shaping the life of young people. The monk made the point that this way of life is what can be called a "Spiritual pursuit' The brevity of human triumph and the impermanence of material wealth were of serious thought to this philosophy What he challenged us to do was to give ourselves a noble reason to live, a lofty ideal to live for and a higher state to reach within the boundaries of human existence. Jan 12, Swami Vivekananda's birthday, is celebrated as National Youth Day.  

  1. Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached. 

उठो, जागो और तब तक नहीं रुको जब तक लक्ष्य ना प्राप्त हो जाये | 

  1. In a conflict between the heart and the brain, follow your heart. 

दिल और दिमाग के टकराव में दिल की सुनो | 

  1. Whatever you think that you will be. If you think of yourself as weak, weak you will be; if you think of yourself as strong, you will be.

जो तुम सोचते हो वो हो जाओगे | यदि तुम खुद को कमजोर सोचते हो, तुम कमजोर हो जाओगे, अगर खुद को ताकतवर सोचते हो, तुम ताकतवर हो जाओगे |

  1. The greatest sin is to think yourself weak.

खुद को कमजोर समझना सबसे बड़ा पाप है |

  1. Blessed are they whose bodies get destroyed in the service of others.

धन्य हैं वो लोग जिनके शरीर दुसरो की सेवा करने में नष्ट हो जाते हैं |

  1. As long as I Live, so long do I learn. That man or that society which has nothing to learn is already in the jaws of death.

जब तक जीवित हूँ, तब तक मैं सीखता हूँ | वह व्यक्ति या वह समाज जिसके पास सिखने को कुछ नहीं है वह पहले से ही मौत के जबड़े में है |

  1. The powers of the mind are like the rays of the sun when they are concentrated they illumine.

मस्तिष्क की शक्तियां सूर्य की किरणों के समान हैं | जब वो केन्द्रित होती हैं, चमक उठती हैं |

  1. We reap what we sow. We are the makers of our own fate.

हम जो बोते हैं वो काटते हैं | हम स्वयं अपने भाग्य के विधाता हैं |

  1. Be not Afraid of anything. You will do Marvellous work. It is Fearlessness that brings Heaven even in a moment.

किसी चीज़ से डरो मत | तुम अद्भुत काम करोगे | यह निर्भयता ही है जो क्षण भर में परम आनंद लाती है |

  1. Dare to go as far as your thought leads, and dare to carry that out in your life.

जहां तक तुम्हारे विचार जाते हैं वहां तक जाने का साहस करो, और उन्हें अपने जीवन का साहस करो |
